  • How much does an online visit cost?

    The upfront visit fee for an online visit is determined by your provider. Check your provider’s profile page to view their fee amount. If your provider accepts insurance, you will still have to pay the visit fee upfront.

    After your visit is diagnosed, your provider will bill your insurance carrier. Once insurance confirms coverage for the online visit, your provider will issue you a refund on HealthLens for the upfront fee minus your copay or coinsurance.

  • How do I pay?

    You will enter your credit card information on Step 3 of the online visit.

  • Is my credit card information secure?

    All credit card payments are handled by Stripe, a leading payment processing system. Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor, and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1, the most stringent level of certification available. More on Stripe security here.

  • Does HealthLens have a refund policy if the diagnosis is incorrect or my condition does not improve?

    No. Providers cannot guarantee their diagnoses. If you have any questions, concerns or are unhappy with your diagnosis and treatment you can contact your provider’s office directly and ask for a refund.
