FAQs: Payments

  • How much does an online visit cost?

The fee for an online visit is determined by your provider. Check your provider’s profile to view their fee.

If your medical insurance covers this form of telemedicine, your provider will bill your insurance company and refund back to your credit card any portion of your payment that was covered by your medical plan. This can take up to several weeks.

Please see Insurance for more information.

  • How do I pay?

After you complete the visit information, you will be asked to make a credit card payment. Your payment information will be held pending evaluation by your provider. If your provider cannot make a diagnosis, no payment will be processed.

  • Is my credit card information secure?

Your credit card is handled by Stripe.com, a leading payment processing system that meets the highest security standards. Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor, and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1, the most stringent level of certification available. More on Stripe security here.

  • Is there a refund policy if the diagnosis is incorrect or my condition does not improve?

No. Providers cannot guarantee their diagnoses. You should always contact your provider if your condition does not improve.
